Hello there. I am Shakey, and I like chillies, the colour blue, beer, film scores, reading aloud and–oh wait, is this that kind of bio?

What’s this all about then?

I write on storytelling, (pop) culture, sports, media, tech & humanity… through a lens of creativity & content. So in here, you will find commentary, thoughts, ideas & discoveries- looking to start conversations & spark inspiration.

I am curious, stimulated by stories and enjoy animated chat, better had over various beverages.

I like odd & beautiful & dark & funny things. (Not necessarily all at once.)

Why should this be of interest?

I have lived & worked at the intersection of creative, content & brand for two decades across entertainment, sports, factual and commercial. I am a handy curator with an eye for interesting reads, captivating stories and conversation-worthy trends. And sometimes, just some good ol’ absurdity.

So the one thing these will never be, is inane.
